Well, last month I said I was erratic, but that was even more true in July. I have been extra busy at my day job, low on reading time and bandwidth, along with some other writing and publishing related stuff. Here are the few stories I managed to read and make my suggestion list. In fact, there were only six.

Inner Worlds published The Griffin on the Ceiling by Melanie Rose Huff in March.
A story of knowing when it’s time to go.
Ascension by P.L. McMillan was published at Apex in March.
A story of sacrificing everything to reach a goal that will make it all worthwhile.
Podcastle published The Worth of Ashes by Amanda Helms in April. A story that grew from 750 words to 4400 about a woman who has to choose whether to keep part of her family or let them go for the survival of her children.
We will see how much I get read in August. We’re not off to a great start despite the backlog of short stories and poetry I have in my inbox to read. I’ll get back to regular recommendations as soon as possible.
