I’ve got seven more stories for you. I apologize for the delayed blog post.
The First Promise We Break by Risa Wolf was published by Apex Magazine in March. Risa is an amazing writer and I adored this story of breaking a promise.
Reckoning published Wolphinia by Giselle Leeb in 2016. I wish this story had another part – I want to know what happens to the wolphinia eventually.

The Converter of Time by Mina Ikemoto Ghosh was published at Speculative City in 2019. I liked this idea of the group who lives within and the group who lives without and the mystery of what’s really going on.
Wyldblood Press published Ghost Wolf by Tara Campbell in February. This is a visceral story of grief.
French Press by Marissa James and Matthew McPike was published by Translunar Travelers Lounge in February. Marissa has fast moved onto my favorite short spec fic writers. What a twisty tale of a cup of, presumably, coffee.
The Arcanist published Spirit of the Caribbean by E J Delaney in March. My favorite part of this story is the names and no singular pronouns.
Junior Year by A.E. Lanier was published by Daily Science Fiction in March. I was intrigued with the twist on what felt like a familiar story.
